Dr. Larry Andrew has been serving his community for 27 years in the reproductive medicine and bio-identical hormone therapy fields. Long before medical school, he developed an interest in rappelling and rock climbing. His first rappelling experience was with a homemade carabiner and harness at the age of 11 when he and his friend rappelled off a two-story house. Larry’s interest in all things adventure also extends to airborne toys like gyrocopters, airplanes, paragliders, and para go-karts. Most people put hobbies on the back burner while they are adulting. But if Larry had done that he would not now be living his passion and building a business with his son, helping himself and other adventurers have an even better climbing experience. He says it’s been a hard road as he discovers the next generation of his revolutionary waterproof and canyoneering packs. It was a little scary to take that leap into the unknown, and they made mistakes along the way. But it has brought his family and other adventurers together in a way he never could have imagined as well as providing a viable answer to the frustrations of climbers everywhere.
